Materials Characterization at Nanoscale

Kyushu University

Materials scientists and engineers, myself included, have a strong desire to understand the physicochemical properties of materials. These properties are strongly correlated with nanostructure, including size, composition, morphology, and atomic arrangement, in general. Transmission electron microscopy is one of the most effective ways to obtain this information and is helping us to improve material properties for the next generation. Through this video, we hope you will strongly recognize the need for material characterization at the nanoscale.
